Okay, here me out, this may be an editorial elopement shoot, BUT it felt 100% like a real elopement!

Erica and Dominic are some of the most adventurist people I know! When the Mostly Becky team contacted me about doing an editorial elopement photoshoot in the North Shore, Minnesota, I immediately thought of these two! Their wedding was going to be held in October, and it still was, but these two had talked so much about just adventuring off somewhere to elope. Now, this photoshoot you are about to see didn’t have a marriage license signed to make anything official, but it sure had everything else! The emotions, the vows, the love, it was all there!

When I contacted Erica and Dominic to see if they would be interested in this shoot, they were more than excited! I met up with them the night before the shoot and we all went camping at an absolutely stunning campground. These two are camping pros and can make some mean camping meals by the way!

The morning of the photoshoot, we woke up, ate breakfast, packed up, and they hosed each other down, literally haha. We were then off to spend the morning hiking and exploring the North Shore. Dominic made Erica the cutest fresh floral bouquet and of course had to reenact a proposal haha. We laughed and shared a drink as we adventured the area and captured some wonderful candid moments.

After exploring, we were off to find a new camp site and clean up for the photo shoot.

Once everyone was freshened up, we headed out to meet up with the Mostly Becky team in Two Harbors, Minnesota at the beautiful Breakwater Lighthouse where we began the photoshoot. Elizabeth from Mostly Becky did an amazing job picking out locations, styling their outfits, and setting up this entire photoshoot! The florals from Clara Joyce Florals were absolutely stunning, just wait till you see them shortly!
