Summer Downtown Des Moines, Iowa High School Senior Photoshoot With A Surprise Location… 😉

Creative, Artsy, Unique, Fun, and Personable high school senior photography is what we strive for!

Brooke’s session was just that!

When we met, she said she wanted a mixture of urban and nature vibes for her session, with a super fun location to end with. (You’ll see where at the end of the blog ;) )

We started downtown Des Moines for some classic senior headshots and portraits. We had the most beautiful evening and the lighting was top notch!

After Downtown, we headed over to Water Works Park for some beautiful sunset portraits in nature. She had brought along a bandana to possibly go with her outfit. I suggested putting it in her hair for a couple shots and I absolutely loved how they turned out!

Our second to last location was a gravel road right outside of Downtown. She wore the cutest overalls and brought some pretty yellow flowers to use as a prop. For this outfit, she had another bandana and this time we folded it over and tied it in her hair to give her outfit an extra pop of color.
