Steamy Roaring 20’s Elopement Shoot at The Prelude 🔥❤️‍🔥

Woofta!!! It’s getting HOTTT in here!! ❤️‍🔥

…but let’s start from the beginning…

One day I was scrolling along on Instagram when I came across this stunning new wedding venue, The Prelude, located in New Virginia, Iowa, and my jaw dropped! I was in shock that such a beautiful moody venue could be located not too far from Des Moines, Iowa.

I immediately reached out to the owners Ashley and Nathaniel and we set up a time to meet, chat, and tour the gorgeous venue space they built. The aesthetic of this venue fits my photography style so perfectly, I knew I had to put together a shoot right away.

The idea of an edgy, editorial, retro, steamy, elopement has been on my mind for awhile. I wanted to create a styled elopement that you don’t normally see here in Iowa and push some boundaries. (That’s my enneagram 4 self showing)

I started reaching out to other wedding vendors about creating together and found the dream team! Then when Kade and Brooke said they would modeI I was crying happy tears because they fit the vibe perfectly, plus their love is some of the most beautiful and strongest love I have ever witnessed. (I have a rule with my styled shoots, I will only work with real couples because I want real emotions and feelings.)
